Days Inn by Wyndham St. Paul-Minneapolis-Midway

Very nice rooms wich I found clean despite the comments of other reviewers. Comfortable bed and pillows very clean linens. In-room amenities: I iron/ironing board, hair dryer, mini fridge/freezer, microwave, WiFi, TV,+. Courteous knowledgeable staff are very nice. Pool & hot tub.

It's good for the price, just don't expect much. The pool is clean and nicely kept, and the rooms are small but cozy. The beds are a little firm but very comfy. The service was so-so, nicer after checking in. Recommended for those on a budget and not overly picky about their stay.

It was decent, it does smell like smoke but the rooms are upgraded and very comfortable, alot of choices for dining in the area. The pool is small but warm. Sauna is very nice, hot tub was closed. Vending machine's everywhere. Looks rundown from the outside, but the people are nice and very helpful. I would stay again for the price and the pool.

After reading the terrible reviews online I figured I would be disappointed but we stayed there anyway. GLAD WE DID...SLEPT LIKE A BABY IN MY COMFORTABLE BED. Room was really nice and smelled great...no smoke or marijuana smell at all!!! The hallway carpet needs to be replaced BUT I am not staying in the hallway... Transportation is available all around you... Their New Restaurant is opening soon. The staff were awesome...we had a small problem that was attended to within 5 minutes of us calling the front desk. I WILL STAY THERE AGAIN!!! AND AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN THANKS FOR THE GREAT ACCOMMODATIONS.

Very clean. Beds are great. The AC was very dirty inside spot didn't cool down room. I opened it took out filter cleaned it and the coils. Then the room got cool. Desk clerk was very friendly. I make reservation a week in advanced. I pay for double room with 2 double beds smoking which cost extra. She put me in a room saying only one they have clean right now at 3:15 pm. Turns out it was a no smoking room, had to go out side to smoke. Also there is a bar and grill which makes it noisy until it closes.

The building is clearly older, but the interiors have been redone at some point and the rooms were exactly what I'd expect from Days Inn. Rooms are clean, up to date, nothing super fancy but have everything you need. The pool / hot tub / sauna area was nice and the bathrooms by the pool are newly remodeled with showers to clean up before and after swimming. The location was perfect. Free parking, close to everything, and the light rail and bus routes give you easy access to both cities. We stayed in a non-smoking room and the room itself was perfect, but as others have noted you can smell smoke when you walk down the hallway past the smoking rooms. Most of the downstairs rooms have both an indoor and outdoor entrance, so if you really need to avoid the smoke (if you have an allergy, for example) I suggest arranging with the hotel to have one of the rooms with an exterior door so you don't have to walk through the hall. I personally didn't mind much, since the room itself smelled fresh and clean.

Good, friendly staff. Pool is decent sized with surprising depth at deep end, and not cold in spite of the outside temperature. The hot tub is smallish, but very hot making it sooo relaxing for the muscles. The furniture in the rooms is showing some wear, but is otherwise we'll maintained and the room is very neat and clean. And the rate is extremely reasonable. I heartily recommend this place to anyone.

Great staff very clean rooms. My husband is a truck driver and we were delivering right around the corner from this hotel. Our delivery appt. was rescheduled for 15hours later then we were told so when we got to the gig we had about 18hours we were stuck waiting so we got a room here. Mainly because it was the first hotel we could get into with a semi turns out they had late check in special and room was heaven compared to another night in the truck.
